Final trailer of Ikkis released ahead of January 1 theatrical debut

The final trailer of the upcoming war drama Ikkis has been unveiled, offering a powerful glimpse into the life and sacrifice of Param Vir Chakra awardee Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film is inspired by the true story of one of India’s youngest war heroes, who laid down his life during the 1971 Indo-Pak war at the age of 21.

The trailer highlights intense battlefield sequences alongside the emotional journey of a young officer driven by duty, courage and conviction. Agastya Nanda leads the cast in the titular role, while veteran actor Dharmendra appears as Khetarpal’s father, marking what is being seen as his final on-screen performance. The emotional undertone of the trailer has already drawn attention, with fans and members of the film fraternity calling it a tribute to both the soldier’s bravery and Dharmendra’s enduring legacy.

Backed by Maddock Films, Ikkis also features Jaideep Ahlawat and Simar Bhatia in key roles. The makers have positioned the film as a large-scale yet deeply personal war drama, balancing action with moments of quiet reflection and family bonds.
