Seasonal favourites once again took over the Billboard Hot 100 during the week of December 20, 2025, with Christmas songs occupying most of the top positions as holiday streaming surged across platforms.
At number one, All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey returned to the summit, continuing its annual chart resurgence. The track has now spent 77 weeks on the Hot 100, reaffirming its status as the most enduring modern Christmas hit.
Brenda Lee’s Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree climbed to number two, rising from last week’s third position, while Last Christmas by Wham! slipped to number three.
Classic holiday staples continued to hold strong. Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms placed fourth, followed by Santa Tell Me from Ariana Grande at number five.
Outside the festive cluster, Golden by HUNTR/X, featuring EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, stood out at number six, offering rare non-holiday representation in the top 10. The Fate Of Ophelia by Taylor Swift followed at number seven.
Rounding out the top 10 were The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas To You) at number eight, Underneath The Tree at number nine, and It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year closing the list at number ten.
The chart movement reflects a familiar year-end pattern, with holiday music dominating airplay and streaming in the final weeks of December, often reshaping the Hot 100 before giving way to new releases in the new year.
