Television personality Mickey Lee, best known for her appearance on the twenty-seventh season of the reality series Big Brother, has died at the age of 35, her family announced on social media. Lee passed away on Christmas Day, after a brief but serious health crisis.
According to her family’s statement, Lee had been hospitalised earlier in the week following a series of cardiac arrests, and despite being surrounded by medical support and loved ones, her condition deteriorated rapidly. She died in the early evening on 25 December 2025.
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, and based in Atlanta, Georgia, Lee gained national recognition during her time on Big Brother Season 27. During the competition, she was praised by fans for her authentic personality, strategic gameplay and vibrant energy, traits that helped her stand out in a crowded field of contestants. She lasted 59 days in the house, finishing in tenth place before her eviction.
In their tribute, Lee’s family said she “captured the hearts of audiences nationwide” and emphasised the positive impact she had on both fans and fellow cast members. They described her spirit, strength and genuine nature as qualities that will be fondly remembered.
Tributes have poured in from the Big Brother community and fellow reality TV alumni, reflecting on Lee’s warmth, charm and the connections she made on and off screen. The family has asked for privacy as they mourn her loss, with details of memorial arrangements expected to be shared at a later date.
